Titanium grade 1 bars and rods consist of 99.5% pure titanium with extremely low oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and iron contents. Mechanically, titanium grade 1 has a tensile strength of approximately 240–370 MPa and yield strength of approximately 170–275 MPa. It is also very ductile, has cold formability, and weldability.
