What is Hastelloy Round Bars?

Hastelloy round bars are mostly made up of nickel in conjunction with different percentages of molybdenum, chromium, iron, and cobalt, depending on the grade. These alloys are characterized by high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidation in both reducing and oxidizing environments. Mechanical properties are normally characterized by tensile strengths of 690 to 850 MPa, high ductility, and good formability. Hastelloy does not lose its structural integrity under harsh temperature conditions and corrosive chemical environments, thus making it a material of choice for demanding industrial use.
