Incoloy 825 Forgings are primarily made up of nickel (38-46%), iron (the balance), chromium (19.5-23.5%), molybdenum (2.5-3.5%), copper (1.5-3%), and titanium (0.6-1.2%). This well-balanced alloy composition offers remarkable resistance to acidic and oxidizing environments. On the mechanical side, it boasts a tensile strength of about 586 MPa, a yield strength of 241 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 30%. These forgings are celebrated for their exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly against sulfuric and phosphoric acids, as well as their stability in both cryogenic and high-temperature conditions, making them perfect for tough industrial applications.

Incoloy 825 Forgings find extensive use in chemical processing, nuclear fuel reprocessing, marine exhaust systems, and acid production facilities. Thanks to their outstanding corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments, they are ideal for heat exchangers, piping, valves, and pump shafts that come into contact with aggressive media. The oil & gas sector employs these forgings in offshore and sour gas applications where high strength and corrosion resistance are crucial. Moreover, power plants utilize them in pressure vessels and nuclear reactors. Their versatility and dependability in extreme conditions make them essential in high-stakes engineering environments.
