Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bar is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that’s stabilized with titanium and has a higher carbon content than standard 321, enhancing its high-temperature strength. Its makeup includes Chromium (17–19%), Nickel (9–12%), and Titanium (≥5xC), with Carbon levels reaching up to 0.10%. This alloy is known for its excellent resistance to oxidation and intergranular corrosion. Typically, SS 321H boasts a tensile strength of 75,000 psi and a yield strength of 30,000 psi, along with good ductility and toughness even at elevated temperatures. It reliably performs in environments reaching up to 900°C (1650°F), making it a great choice for heat-intensive applications.
