The inclusion of molybdenum significantly boosts corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and acidic conditions. In terms of mechanical properties, they boast a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. This austenitic stainless steel is known for its excellent toughness, formability, and weldability, making it perfect for applications that demand strength and resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and general chemical exposure.
