Kanish Metals is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of Inconel 601 Forgings, located in Dubai, UAE, offering high-performance forged parts intended to be used under extreme temperature and corrosive conditions. Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy that has superior oxidation and thermal cycling resistance at elevated temperatures up to above 1100°C. Kanish Metals supplies precision-engineered forgings that are in line with international specifications and find extensive applications in rigorous industrial processes. With an emphasis on quality, prompt delivery, and customized solutions, Kanish Metals caters to the major industry sectors of aerospace, chemical processing, power generation, and heat treatment within the UAE and international markets.
Inconel 601 consists mainly of nickel (approximately 58–63%) and chromium (21–25%), with addition of aluminum for oxidation resistance. The alloy possesses good mechanical strength, with a tensile strength of about 650–850 MPa and satisfactory creep and rupture resistance. It has structural integrity in high-temperature and oxidative service. Inconel 601 is also resistant to spalling, carburization, and scaling and is therefore suitable for thermal cycling service. The alloy is resistant to corrosion over a wide range of temperatures as well as to aqueous corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in severe industrial environments.

Temperature control ensures uniform heating, preserving the microstructure and mechanical properties of forged Inconel 601. Inadequate control can lead to defects, reduced strength, and compromised performance in high-temperature applications.
Inconel 601 forgings are produced through a combination of hot working and controlled cooling, typically involving heating to high temperatures followed by forging to shape. Post-forging, the material undergoes heat treatment to optimize strength and enhance corrosion resistance.
To improve the surface finish of forged Inconel 601 parts, you can use methods such as polishing, grinding, or shot blasting. Additionally, applying a protective coating or performing heat treatments can help enhance surface smoothness and reduce oxidation.
Inconel 601 Forgings find applications in operations requiring superior resistance to heat and oxidation. Some of the most common applications are furnace parts, heat exchangers, radiant tubes, thermocouple protective tubes, gas turbine components, and kiln linings. It finds application in petrochemical processing, thermal oxidizers, power generation boiler tubes, and aerospace exhaust systems. The thermal cycling stability of Inconel 601 makes it suitable for high-temperature applications in both carburizing and oxidizing atmospheres. Its corrosion and mechanical fatigue resistance provides extended service life in key components under severe industrial environments.
