Super Duplex Steel Zeron 100 is a modern alloy containing about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.5% molybdenum, and nitrogen. Its special composition offers exceptional pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. It has remarkable mechanical properties such as high tensile strength (100 ksi) and good impact resistance even at low temperatures. Hardness ranges between 270-330 HB, which makes it suitable for use in high-pressure conditions. Zeron 100 has good weldability and is resistant to general and local corrosion in harsh environments.
