Nickel Alloy 201 is a low-carbon variant of Nickel 200 with a minimum nickel content of 99.5%, which makes it strongly resistant to corrosion in reducing and neutral conditions. It has a low carbon content of 0.02% max, which enhances resistance to graphitization, particularly in hot strength applications above 315°C. Its typical mechanical properties are tensile strength of approximately 380 MPa, yield strength of 100 MPa, and elongation of about 45%. Nickel 201 possesses good mechanical stability, electrical conductivity, and magnetostrictive properties and is thus applicable to chemically and heat-related demanding services.
